Bindura University of Science Education Showcases Innovation at the Mashonaland Central Agricultural Show 2026
BINDURA – Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) is making a strong impression at the 2026 Mashonaland Central Agricultural Show, where the institution is exhibiting a wide range of innovative technologies, research driven products and industrial solutions designed to transform agriculture, industry and communities.
The university’s vibrant exhibition stand has attracted hundreds of visitors, including farmers, students, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and government officials, all eager to experience first hand the practical innovations being developed at BUSE.
Among the highlights of the exhibition are the locally assembled Palpo smart devices, demonstrating Zimbabwe’s growing capacity in technology manufacturing. Visitors are also exploring BUSE’s industrial and household chemicals, high quality masawu value added products, OpTech optical lens solutions, cosmeceuticals and several research based innovations produced through the university’s Industrial Innovation Hub.
The exhibition also features advanced laboratory services, including soil testing and analytical solutions that support farmers in improving crop productivity through scientific decision making. Researchers and university experts are on hand to explain how these services can contribute to increased agricultural efficiency and sustainable production.
Health innovation is another major attraction at the stand, where visitors are receiving eye screening demonstrations using modern diagnostic equipment while learning about the university’s optical technologies and vision care services.
