Hailing from Mt Darwin in Mashonaland Central Province, Agama FC has become the first team from Mt Darwin to secure promotion into the prestigious Castle Premier League.
For decades, football giants from the district tried and failed to break into the topflight. Today, Agama FC has achieved what seemed impossible. This milestone places them alongside fellow Mashonaland Central representatives and former PSL champions, Simba Bhora FC, marking a new era of football pride for the province.
A special mention goes to Tinashe Balakasi, who once again proved to be a decisive force. After playing a similar role in leading Simba Bhora FC to the Premier League, he has repeated history with Agama FC, becoming a key figure in their remarkable journey to promotion.
