Mine Entra 2026 Opens Today as Zimbabwe Showcases Mining Innovation and Investment Opportunities
BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe – The highly anticipated Mine Entra 2026 Mining, Engineering and Transport Expo officially opens today, bringing together mining companies, equipment manufacturers, investors, policymakers, engineers and transport industry leaders from Zimbabwe and across the region.
Running from 29 to 31 July 2026 at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City (ZICES) in Bulawayo, the expo is being held under the theme “Unearth, Transform, Prosper: Anchoring Economic Transformation Through Mining Value Chains.”
The event is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development and the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe, highlighting the country’s commitment to unlocking value from its vast mineral resources while promoting industrialisation and economic growth.
Mine Entra has become one of Zimbabwe’s premier mining exhibitions, providing a platform for local and international exhibitors to showcase cutting edge mining technologies, engineering solutions, transport systems, safety equipment and value addition innovations. Visitors will have an opportunity to explore the latest machinery, digital mining solutions, drone technologies, exploration equipment and infrastructure developments that are transforming the mining sector.
Beyond the exhibition, delegates will participate in a series of high level conferences and symposiums focusing on beneficiation and value addition, mineral exploration, suppliers and infrastructure, as well as critical minerals strategy. The programme also includes structured business to business meetings through the Buyers Programme, connecting exhibitors with potential investors and procurement decision makers.
Artisanal and small scale miners are also expected to benefit from dedicated sessions aimed at improving productivity, access to financing, modern mining equipment, technical knowledge and business networking opportunities.
As Zimbabwe continues to pursue Vision 2030 and increase mineral production, Mine Entra 2026 is expected to play a significant role in attracting investment, strengthening partnerships and promoting innovation across the mining value chain.
The expo concludes on 31 July, with additional networking events and the Mine Entra Charity Golf Challenge scheduled for 1 August 2026.
