Mashonaland Central Agricultural Show Begins Today.
The much anticipated Mashonaland Central Agricultural Show officially opens today at the Bindura Showgrounds, bringing together farmers, agribusinesses, exhibitors, investors, families and entertainment lovers for four days of agriculture, innovation and fun.
Running from 29 July to 1 August 2026, this year’s show is being held under the theme, “Supporting Vibrant Agribusiness for a Competitive Economy.” The event is expected to showcase the latest developments in crop production, livestock, agricultural machinery, irrigation technologies and value addition, while creating opportunities for networking and business growth across the province.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of exhibitions featuring modern farming equipment, livestock displays, horticulture, agribusiness products and services from both established companies and emerging entrepreneurs. The show also offers educational demonstrations aimed at empowering farmers with new knowledge and technologies to improve productivity.
Beyond agriculture, the event promises exciting family entertainment, including helicopter rides, horse riding, fireworks, children’s activities and live performances by popular musician Killer T, supported by local artists and DJs. These attractions are expected to draw thousands of visitors from Mashonaland Central and beyond.
Admission fees are US$3 for adults and US$2 for children from Wednesday to Friday, while Saturday admission is US$5 for adults and US$3 for children.
The Mashonaland Central Agricultural Show remains one of the province’s premier annual events, promoting agricultural excellence, investment, tourism and economic development while celebrating the vital role farmers play in Zimbabwe’s economy.
